DEFINITIONS
FDR1 Fire :- A fire with an insurable loss such as property, cars etc.
FDR3 Fire :- A fire involving rubbish, grass, waste materials etc.
FADA :- False Alarm Due to Apparatus. An actuation of an
automatic fire alarm system due to non fire situations
such as steam, fumes from cooking, leaking water
setting off a smoke detector etc.
FAGI :- False Alarm Good Intent. This where someone
genuinely thinks there is a fire emergency and calls
the fire service. Typical reasons are people seeing
smoke rising that turns out to be controlled burning off,
or someone who can smell something burning that
turns out to be smoke from controlled burning drifting
into a nearby building. Smoke from barbecues being
mistaken for a house on fire etc.
Malicious
(Mal) :- A hoax call

Emergency
(SSC E) :- Calls to incidents of a non-fire situation but still
classed as an emergency such as vehicle crashes,
train accidents, incidents involving hazardous
substances, animal rescues, floodings etc.
